Murder Behind Masks
Vienna, 1899. At the Palais Esterházy, a select society gathers for a glittering masked ball. Champagne flows, old acquaintances are renewed, and behind the masks much stays unspoken.
But shortly before midnight, the host is found dead in his study.
Seven guests were at the palais. Each of them had something to hide. And one of them knows exactly what happened that night.
For 6–8 people · every player could be the murderer · approx. 2–3 hours · German or English

How it works
Before you even sit down, everyone already has something to hide.
Step 1
Assign the roles
You assign the roles and send each guest their personal link. No printing, no sorting and no game-master script.
Step 2
Step into your role
Everyone reads their personal role beforehand: background, relationships and a secret only they know. Matching costume ideas are included.
Step 3
Investigate over dinner
During the dinner, three rounds of clues are unlocked. With every round, new information comes to light.
Step 4
Unmask the murderer
At the end, you all vote on who the murderer is. Whether you're right is revealed only in the resolution.

Do I need to be able to act?
No. Everyone gets their role with everything they need to know: background, relationships and a secret. You simply speak from your character's point of view and decide for yourself what you reveal. Reading aloud is perfectly fine.
How many people do we need?
Every case is written for 6 to 8 people. The host plays along just like everyone else and is just as much a suspect.
How long does an evening take?
About one dinner: plan for roughly 2 to 3 hours. The three rounds of clues spread across the courses, and the resolution comes at the end.
What about the food?
You cook yourselves or order in. The case works with any menu. All that matters is that you sit at the table together.
What do my guests need to play?
Just a smartphone. Roles and clues arrive digitally at the right time; nothing needs to be printed or prepared.
